Three scientists honored for innovative approaches

Three Yale scientists are among 50 recipients of the 2014 National Institutes of Health Director’s New Innovator Awards. The $1.5 million awards support innovative approaches to major challenges in biomedical research today.

With the award’s support, Chenxiang Lin, Ph.D., assistant professor of cell biology, will aim to generate artificial membranes to better study membrane trafficking in cells.
