Oncologist is recognized by national cancer academy

Vincent T. DeVita Jr., M.D., the Amy and Joseph Perella Professor of Medicine, was named a fellow of the American Association for Cancer Research Academy (AACR). The AACR honors scientists whose research has led to significant innovation and progress against cancer. DeVita, also professor of epidemiology, was recognized for his pioneering work in oncology, including the development of curative treatments for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. DeVita is currently editor-in-chief of The Cancer Journal.
