June 1, 2: 1. At the medical school’s REUNION WEEKEND, the Class of 1957 gathered on the steps of Sterling Hall of Medicine, just as they did 50 years ago as students. 2. THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GRADUATION OF CORTLANDT VAN RENSSELAER CREED, M.D. 1857, the first African-American student to graduate from Yale, was marked by 50 of Creed’s descendants from across the nation.
